Host/Hostess- Nobu Marrakech
We are looking to incorporate a person for the Host / Hostess position, responsible for ensuring a warm, elegant and efficient welcome experience for all restaurant guests, acting as the first point of contact and representing the brand’s hospitality and service standards.
The person in this role will have a strong focus on guest experience, the operational organization of reservations and the proper management of the restaurant flow, ensuring smooth communication between front of house, kitchen and guests in order to deliver an impeccable service aligned with the establishment’s positioning. Their main objective will be to guarantee an excellent experience from the very first contact, optimizing the operational coordination of the service and representing the image of the restaurant with professionalism and warmth.
What would your responsibilities be?
Welcome management and guest experience
Welcome guests in a professional, warm and brand-aligned manner, in line with the company’s hospitality standards.
Manage reservations, waiting lists and table allocation in an organized and efficient way.
Escort guests to their table while ensuring a smooth and personalized experience.
Manage the flow of guests entering and leaving the restaurant, optimizing waiting times and occupancy.
Anticipate needs and handle special requests, ensuring an excellent experience.
Operational coordination and internal communication
Maintain constant communication with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure proper service coordination.
Provide information about VIP bookings, guest preferences and special requirements.
Support the optimization of restaurant occupancy in line with operational guidelines.
Manage last-minute incidents or changes with agility and professionalism.
Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth running of daily service.
Brand representation and service standards
Represent the restaurant’s image and values through elegant and professional communication.
Ensure the welcome experience is aligned with the property’s luxury hospitality standards.
Maintain a proactive, solution-oriented attitude focused on guest satisfaction.
Build positive and close relationships with returning guests and visitors.
Ensure the order, presentation and atmosphere of the restaurant reception area.
Administrative management and follow-up
Correctly manage the reservation system and update information accurately.
Record relevant guest preferences, incidents and observations.
Coordinate with other departments in the case of special bookings or events.
Support administrative tasks related to restaurant operations.
Ensure confidentiality and the proper handling of guest information.
What do we need from you?
Education
Education in Hospitality, Tourism, Food & Beverage or similar.
Specific training in customer service and protocol is a plus.
Training related to luxury hospitality is highly valued.
Experience
Previous experience in Host / Hostess positions, restaurant reception or customer service within hospitality.
Experience in premium restaurants, luxury hotels or lifestyle environments is highly valued.
Experience in reservation management and serving international guests.
Familiarity with high-level service standards.
Languages
Professional/advanced level of English, French and Arabic.
Knowledge of other languages is highly valued.
